  • 8:00 am Reveille and Breakfast

  • 8:30 am Gates open to the public, Breakfast at the chuckwagons for the public

  • 9:00 am Welcome by Kirby Warnock

  • 9:30 am to 1:00 pm School visits begin at main tent, followed by Comanche dancers and cedar smoke blessing ceremony

  • 12:00 noon Lunch at the chuckwagons for the public

  • 12:30 pm Gun slinger shootout (near main tent) followed by gathering of school kids at cannon for mass firing.

  • 1:00 pm School buses load for return

  • 1:10 pm Comanche dancers (near main tent)

  • 1:30 pm Comanche stories by descendants of Quanah Parker (stage #2)

  • 2:00 pm History and Archaeology  of Horsehead Crossing by Tom Ashmore (main tent)

  • 3:00 pm Horsehead Crossing Walking Tour with Tom Ashmore (starts at main tent)

  • 3:00 pm Women’s tea time (main tent)

  • 3:00 pm Cowboy Poetry (stage #2)

  • 3:30 pm Gun Slinger Shootout (near stage #2)

  • 4:00 pm Comanche stories by descendants of Quanah Parker

  • 4:25 pm Comanche dancers (near stage #2) followed by cedar smoke blessing.

  • 6:00 pm Dutch Oven Biscuit Making at the chuck wagons

  • 9:30 am Widows of Texas Confederate Soldiers ceremony, followed by memorial service for Texas Confederate Soldiers (at Confederate Memorial)

  • 10:30 am History and archeology of Horsehead Crossing by Tom Ashmore (main tent)

  • 11:00 am Dutch oven biscuit making at the chuck wagons

  • 11:30 am West Texas Trails presentation (stage #2) and Horsehead Crossing Walking Tours with Tom Ashmore (starts at main tent)

  • 12:00 pm Lunch at the chuckwagons for the public
